[VACANCY] LHR seeks Candidate Attorney for eThekwini Office

LHR is inviting applications from law graduates with an interest in human rights law and public interest litigation to join our candidate attorney programme. LHR offers candidate attorneys comprehensive in-house training and financial support to complete the School of Legal Practice training. The position is based in LHR’s eThekwini law clinic and placement focuses mainly on the Refugees and Migrant Rights Programme and Detention and Monitoring Unit.

LHR is an independent human rights organisation with a four-decade track record in human rights activism and public interest litigation in South Africa. We offer human rights activists and lawyers an exciting and challenging work environment covering a wide range of social justice issues and is committed to transformation of the sector.

The position is based in LHR’s eThekwini law clinic and placement focuses mainly on the Refugees and Migrant Rights Programme and Detention and Monitoring Unit.

Requirements: LLB degree, legal research and writing skills.
