On 16 August 2024, the Minister of Home Affairs published a notice requiring everyone with a blocked ID to send reasons or representations explaining why their ID should not be cancelled (“cancelled” means permanently deleted from the from the National Population Register).
The deadline to submit your reasons or representations is 15 September 2024. This guide will help you to write your own reasons and representations to Home Affairs.
